Page County Public Schools is seeking a maintenance technician for technical and general maintenance duties within the school division.  We are seeking an applicant with experience in HVAC maintenance and repair, reading and understanding blue prints, electrical schematics, and troubleshooting a wide variety of commercial equipment.  Experience with building automation systems is desired.  Preferred qualifications include, but are not limited to:  a Universal EPA refrigerant certification, background in HVAC, and/or electrical controls (BAS is a plus).

 

The successful candidate must have experience in repairing and maintaining building equipment.  The maintenance employee must be able to perform a wide variety of skilled journey-level work in the maintenance and repair of District facilities and equipment.  This includes experience in fields such as refrigeration, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning.  The maintenance technician should also be experienced in operating a variety of equipment and machines (including power tools and motorized equipment) to perform repair and maintenance work.  Although this position is a Monday - Friday, daylight position, members of the Page County Schools maintenance department are available as needed and rotate being "on call" for maintenance emergencies.

 

Note:  Entry level salary is advertised, however credit for experience is available along with additional stipends for specific licenses and credentials held.
